Meet Our Team
Introducing Linda B.
Linda Borgmeyer, OTR/L, MSK
Linda Borgmeyer is an Occupational Therapist with 33 years of experience ranging from infants to older adults. Thinking there was something more that could be done for the older population she, earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology- Geriatric Exercise Science. She then used this information to re-vamp and power-up the treatment her team provided in both the skilled nursing center and outpatient clinic at the continuing care retirement community where she works. Linda developed a high-intensity interval class for the wellness department that was specifically geared for the older population but not watered down. She believes that based on current scientific evidence that the older population is being under served with respect to type, intensity, and accessibility to rehab services. Linda is also credited with leading 17 residents through a training program and completion of a community 5k event. Residents ranging from 72 -92 years of age and all placed in their age category. Linda and AARP organized a Track event for ages 55-105 for March 14, 2020. She is excited to share current research, practical application/tools, and her passion.
