Katherine is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire where she earned her Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy with a Minor in Art and Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She also competed as a Division I athlete as a triple and long jumper. She pursued occupational therapy because she enjoys how it is both an art and science, where she can think outside of the box to design treatment programs for individuals based on their needs and interests. She felt that her own values resembled the principles of occupational therapy and she enjoys seeing the impact as well as facilitating positive change on each person. She spent the last couple summers completing various internships where she had the opportunity to work with populations including adults and pediatric developmental disabilities, mental health clubhouses, primary care and acute/inpatient rehabilitation.
In her spare time Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, baking, traveling, photography and going to the beach. She is excited to be a member of the Novoleo Therapy and Fitness team and feels it is a unique opportunity to work with ground breaking technology that helps individuals reach their full potential and get back to performing occupations that are of most importance to them.
