Fitness Accessories

You may notice that we occasionally use fitness equipment to increase the intensity of our training sessions. Below is a list of tools we use in our practice as well as a link to purchase them from Amazon. Resistance Bands - Loop

Why it's great: 

These nonslip bands can be used to add resistance to your rehab/exercise training and come in 4 levels of strength. With strong yet comfortable grip on the inside of the loop, you can be sure that they won't shift or move around during use - even while sweating! They are also a great addition to your high intensity interval training using the Galileo WBV Machine. 

Resistance Bands - Cord

Why it's great: 

These resistance cords are versatile and can be combined so you can use between 10-150lbs of resistance during your workout. It also comes with a door jam attachment as well as ankle and wrist attachments so you can maximize the functionality of these bands based on the type of exercises you are performing. 

Foam Pad
- 15x19

Why it's great: 
This foam pad is used for balance and strengthening activities and can also provide padded support during kneeling. It is great for ankle and foot rehabilitation following injuries plus it is slip resistant and easy to clean. 

Foam Tiles
- Interlocking

Why it's great: 

These interlocking foam tiles cover 24 square feet and provide a 1/2 inch cushion for your rehab or exercise activities. They are easy to clean and can be quickly assembled and dissembled giving you flexibility in the configuration of your workout space. 

Adjustable Aerobic Step 

Why it's great: 
This aerobic step is adjustable to 6, 8, or 10 inches and can be used for rehabilitation, building power, high intensity interval training, and even in conjunction with the Galileo WBV machine. It has a non-slip surface and can support weight of up to 242 lbs.
